Summary

The Account Executive is responsible for soliciting quality first mortgage loans through our correspondent program in order to build a larger servicing portfolio for Freedom Mortgage.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Solicit correspondent business via all appropriate means (telephone, face-to-face, print).
  • Manage customer support processes for current customers.
  • Generate FHA and Conventional mortgages through effective prospecting of mortgage brokers.
  • Sources new brokers on an ongoing basis and submits required documentation for broker approval.
  • Develop and manage all business opportunities within a defined territory.
  • Assist in obtaining sufficient and complete documentation from the broker as required by Freedom Mortgage’s underwriting/processing guidelines.
  • Acts as a liaison between Freedom Mortgage and the mortgage broker throughout all phases of the loan process.
  • Maintain sales contact, pipeline and other pertinent sales activity reports.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to carry out detailed written and/or verbal instructions. Ability to solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
